This bar contains 20% roasted New Zealand hazelnuts; stoneground with single-estate cacao, resulting in a soft, buttery texture. The sweet orange and sprinkle of Marlborough sea salt lift this bar to a whole new level of deliciousness.
The cacao inside this chocolate is the Trinitario varietal. A slightly hotter roast profile was used to create a more stable base for the hazelnut flavour.
The chocolate is hand sorted, roasted, cracked, winnowed and stone ground for up to 80 hours before ageing our chocolate. Each bar is then tempered, moulded and hand-wrapped in the small Shirl + Moss factory based in Wellington, New Zealand.
